Power House St Kilda Women’s Football

Power House St Kilda Women’s football team continues to grow as a competitive and driven group with a strong appetite for success. We’re now welcoming committed players with a passion for the game for the 2026 season.

2025 saw our Women’s team step up to Division 1 and compete strongly at a higher level, narrowly missing out on finals in a fiercely contested season. The experience has only sharpened our edge. After back-to-back finals campaigns in 2023 and 2024, and earning promotion in successive seasons, the group is more determined than ever to reclaim a finals spot and push deeper into September.

We pride ourselves on our determination and “never give up” attitude. We challenge one another to improve every session, while maintaining the warmth, connection and joy that define our team environment.

The program

Our coaches are committed to developing our players skills, fitness and football IQ to build a team capable of sustained success. Pre-season will combine conditioning, skills and game sense, ensuring we are prepared to execute our game plan from Round 1.

Our training standards reflect the consistent work rate and accountability that have become hallmarks of this group.

Coaching Team

Leo Lahey

Leo returns for the 2026 season after guiding the team through its first Division 1 campaign. His AFL journey spans the NT, QLD and ACT—beginning with St Mary’s in Darwin and representing the NT nationally. He played and coached in North QLD, including leading the Queensland Police AFL team at national carnivals, before moving into coaching roles with the South East Sports Academy AFLW, GWS Giants Women’s Academy, ACT U15 Girls, AFL Canberra U22 and NSW/ACT Senior Women. His experience and belief in the group continue to drive standards and growth.

John “Junior” Senior

John “Junior” Senior also returns as Assistant Coach for 2026. A long-time supporter of our women’s program and one of the club’s great servants, Junior has played 226 games for Power House and was a member of the 2000 premiership team. His commitment, care for the players and deep understanding of the club make him an invaluable part of the program as we aim to take the next step in Division 1.
