It was a tough and muddy day at the Ross Gregory on Saturday.

The Women started off the ‘triple header’ in the best way possible with a gritty 1-point win. Sarah Dash kicked 2 goals while Jordan Balfry kept the backline in check.

The Reserves were accurate kicking 5 straight goals but they were no match for Glen Eira who look a team to beat this year in D2 reserves. Eoghan McNutt kicked 2 majors and Heath Miller was solid across the back, John Cannon rucked well all day and Phil Mackney was covered from head to toe in mud.

In the Seniors the boys put up a great effort all day but fell short by 4 goals. Adam Collett turned back the clock with a 3 goal performance, River Carroll kicked a couple of ‘goal of the day’ contenders and  Kane Goodwin was everywhere in a best on ground performance.

We now head to the VAFA bye round 4 points clear of bottom placed Hawthorn.
