It was a disappointing weekend for the House with all 3 teams going down.

The undermanned Reserves got spanked, the Women fell short against a strong Therry Penola and the Seniors fell way in the last Quarter against an impressive Yarra Old Grammarians.

There were few highlights for the Reserves as they went down by 116 points, Daniel Buckley and Nick Easom hit the scoreboard for the only 2 goals, Heather Miller and Kieran McManus were resolute in defense.

The women could only manage 1 goal in their match thanks to Lisa McCombs, the back-line were under siege all day but Anna Kennedy and Sally Werner fought hard to the end.

In the Seniors River Carroll was the stand out with a best on ground 6 goal performance, Kane Goodwin and Daragh Leonard provided great run and dash all day.

We look forward next week to Glen Eira back at the Ross Gregory.

We also had our Bunnings BBQ on Sunday at Port Melbourne where the team sold over $2k in sausages and drinks! Well done to all players who volunteered their time for a great cause. We raised some much needed funds for the club.
