It was a disappointing weekend for the club with both teams going down to UHS-VU.
The Seniors suffered their first loss of the season after a dreadful first quarter which saw UHS kick 7 goals to 1. The second quarter was not much better as we kicked 1 goal to 3.
The House fought back hard in the 3rd term but he deficit was too great as UHS ran away with it in the end.
One positive was the return of Nick Nagel (4 goals) and Darcy Grasby who played well in their first games back from injury.
In the Reserves, it was always going to be a tough ask against an undefeated UHS. The end result was a 61-point defeat but there were plenty of positives to take out. Sean Marshall played his best game for the club, Gerry Cleary rucked all day, Phil Mackney suffered leather poisoning due to a stack of possessions and Steve Circosta was everywhere.
We have much to work on as a club and we will have to train hard all week as we face a determined Richmond Centrals next week.
