Happy New Year to you all,

Was great to meet some of you, have a chat, and gain some insight about the club, and you as individuals in our last session before Christmas.

The session with 2016 Western Bulldogs premiership player Fletcher Roberts was excellent, and we were all able to gain some intel into certain AFL philosophies.

With a new year, brings alot of new ideas and fresh personnel to the club.

There are significant changes on and off field, which will definitely enhance all of our experiences.

We are working hard on the recruiting, with some very positive signs already been displayed.

It’s exciting to work with you all, and bring together a new Power House brand over pre-season so we can enjoy our football, and ultimately win more games this year.

Keep an open mind with what we can achieve in 2020. I’m confident with the adjustments we are making on and off field, we will be successful.

Our aims for this pre-season will be basic, but with a formula behind them to ensure we will improve individually and as a club.

These main aims are:

  1. Be fitter than last season
  2. Continually work on a style of game to further maximise our potential to win games of footy, and a style that will win finals.

Pre-Season Training Commences
Pre-season training will commence Monday 20th January 2020.
.
Training will continue be each Monday and Wednesday 6.30pm at Ross Gregory Oval.

Please just bring runners only at this stage.

There is a running program to follow up on the Power House AFC Players Messenger Group.

If you can aim for at least 3 running sessions per week up until our first training session, that will give us all a head start for this year, and make it easier to implement the style of play for 2020.

Pre-seasons are a tough grind. I’ve never been involved in an easy pre-season!

Let’s support each other with high training attendance, enthusiasm at training, continual interaction with each other on and off field, and a beer/soft drink or two off the track.

And let’s indeed make it a happy 2020 for all at Power House.

Cheers and I’ll see you on the track.
