It was great to see a good attendance online and in the clubrooms at the 2022 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 9 November 2022.

After another difficult year on the field, it was an opportunity hear from the off-field leaders on how the club worked off the field and what is planned for 2023 and beyond.

At the meeting, the following Committee members did not seek re-election to the committee:-

  • Richard Ogenche
  • Matt Leonard
  • Cat Bartholomew
  • Britt Tancred
  • Dan Stuart

Thanks to Richie for his three years as Treasurer. Both Matt and Dan have been active committee members for a number of years and we thank them for their contribution during this time. We also thank Cat and Britt for the work they did in 2022 on the committee.

The New Committee for 2023 was elected.

Nic Pavlou was re-elected President for the 14th consecutive year continuing his run as the longest serving President in club history.

Daniel Buckley made the decision to step down as Secretary after a stellar record nine years in the role. We should take this opportunity to thank Daniel for his MAMMOTH contribution to the club during this time and his work in this role should not go unrecognised. The good news is that Daniel will be remaining on the committee in a key operational role in 2023. Thank you Bucks from everyone at the club.

Lara Cartwright was elected in the role of Secretary of the club. Lara is a champion defender and member of our Women’s team. This is Lara’s 4th year at Power House and her second year on the committee. Lara has taken on a huge responsibility and we look forward to what she will bring in 2023.

Brad Phillips was elected in the role of Treasurer. Brad came to the club in 2003 and is a 2006 Premiership player. It’s great to have Brad back at the club and on the committee in this key role.

The committee number elected for 2023 was 12 which is designed to support the Future Growth Strategy and the extra projects we will be working on including growing our Women’s Team, building some key community partnerships, strategy planning, recruitment, fundraising and the numerous facility improvement projects we have planned for 2023 and beyond.

The club showed its leadership stability with 9 committee members re-elected.

From a diversity perspective, we are pleased to advise that there are 3 women represented on our committee

We are also excited to announce three new members of the committee:-

  • Brad Phillips
