Welcome to the Power House Amateur Football Club

Nic Pavlou – President

Hi Power House Community,

It’s almost Round 1 and the natives are getting restless.

With only 3 weeks to go before the season proper begins for our 3 teams, last minute training, planning and preparation is going on down at the Ross Gregory Oval.

Dave Matthews and Bernard Brady are marshalling their troops in readiness for the big April 7 opener.

The coaches took a close look at about 35 players who made the trip out to Kilmore on Saturday and there are a couple of intra-club games to come over the next few weeks so the players have a couple of more chances to impress the selectors.

The Women’s Team play their first match on 7 April as well but importantly have a round robin competition to play this weekend in Keysborough.

Coach Phil Mackney know that this will be a big test to the team as they have been working on this weekend as a key to launching their season.

The Season Launch took place last Saturday Night at Cushion Bar in St Kilda. This was a big night and a chance for the players of both teams to mingle and socialise for the first time.

We will be holding our Jumper Presentation Dinner for both Men’s and Women’s Teams on Thursday 5 April upstairs at the clubrooms after the final training session.

We will present jumpers to all new players and will also be announcing the Leadership groups and Club Captains for both Teams.

The only thing that is missing is YOU.

We want YOU to come down and be a part of Season 2018.

Get on Board.
