This game was a must win for both teams as they lined up for The “Lakeside Cup”.

Albert Park started the better side kicking away to a handy early lead with a 5 goals to 1 first stanza.

The honors were still with the Falcons as they went into the main break with a well deserved 5 goal lead.

Edwards was still causing headaches for the opposition despite a heavy knock to the head while Burnside was toiling away.

In the third quarter, the boys came out to play and served up a 7 goals to 4 goalfest.

Power House was suddenly back in the game as the lead had been reduced to 10 points at the final break.

With an exciting finish on the cards, the anticipation and expectation during the team huddles was intense.

However, the final quarter fizzled out as Albert Park reasserted themselves and wrested back control in a disappointing result for the boys.

Best for the House were Baker, Burnside, Jake Whelan, Lachie Nevett and Clint Phillips while Edwards dominated again with 5 goals.
