It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former player President and Life Member, Harry South.
Harry passed away this morning after a long illness.
Harry came to Power House in 1957 and first played in the Under 19 team.
He showed great promise and was a member of the famous 1959 Immortals Champion Team.
Harry continued his career at Power House playing his last game in 1984 – 26 years after he commenced.
Harry became Club President for 3 years in 1984/5/6 and was elected to Life Membership.
Harry was famous for his booming voice behind the goals cheering on the House.
He was a big man with a big personality, a big heart with a generous demeanour.
He will be sadly missed by all his Power House and Lord Somers Camp friends and family.
Harry turned 77 last week.
